Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) and GPH Ispat Limited recently signed an agreement to beautify the port city Chittagong.

Under the agreement, a 2.7 kilometers long and 10 feet wide Airport Road road from Ghat No-15 to Boat Club under Patenga Police Station will be beatified. The mid road island will be got a new look after completion of the work.

CCC's Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin and Managing Director of GPH Ispat Mohammed Jahangir Alam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations while Additional Managing Director Mohammed Almas Shimul and the high officials of both organization were also present in the ceremony.

While addressing after signing of the agreement, the CCC Mayor said "GPH has set an example over country's structural development as well as Chittagong." CCC Mayor also thanked GPH for its overall cooperation to City Corporation and admiring the GPH's earlier initiatives.

Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin added that tourists from the home and abroad and investors will be convinced and attracted due to the beautification of the road and image of Chittagong as the green city will be advertised through the work. CCC mayor also assured GPH Ispat of extending all-out support from Chittagong City Corporation.

Managing Director of GPH Ispat Mohammed Jahangir Alam said GPH has not only doing business but also discharging social responsibility through the work responding the call of mass people.
