2,000 families get power connection in Matlab

Electricity line over 27.63 km has been inaugurate to provide power among 2000 families at Matlab South in Chandpur.Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya inaugurated the electricity line on Friday. Chandpur Palli Bidyut-2 general manager Abu Taher presided over the electrification program in the Mohanpur constituency. Maya Chowdhury said at the program, Bangladesh has been working to provide electricity to all the households by entering the nuclear power plant. This requires uninterrupted government.

The minister urged the leaders and activists to make opinion polls in Awami League in the coming elections.The Minister said the establishment of factories with electricity has links. He expressed optimism that the owners of the factory would be able to establish factories with the power and river facilities.

Industrialist Shahjahan Sikder, District Awami League law secretary Jahangir Alam Sarker, panel chairman of the district council HM Jahangir Alam Master, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Ariful Islam Emon, Upazila Chairman Kalyan Samity President Shamsul Haque Chowdhury Babul and local leaders were present.
