Annisul Huq was evergreen

Bangladesh Bank's former governor and prominent economist Dr. Atiur Rahman has expressed deep shock at the death of Dhaka North City Corpor-ation's mayor Annisul Huq.Dr. Atiur Rahman referred to Annisul Huq as an evergreen leader and said, "We have lost a valuable figure who had extraordinary qualities to do many things for building up the country.

Annisul Huq's enthusiastic leadership broadly insp-ired the youths and all other people of Bang-ladesh. He was a multidimensional, prolific person." Dr. Atiur said Annisul Huq was a successful businessmen as well as an eminent media personality. At the same time Annisul Huq performed outstandingly as a mayor, Atiur added. "During 1996 I and Annisul Huq worked together for a television program called Sobinoye Jante Chai" he recalled.

He also said Annisul Huq is no more but he has left behind his legacy of achievements and his splendid works which will be always remembered with honor and admiration."We should work dynamically to accomplish the dreams Annisul Huq upheld and this is how we can pay the highest tribute to his memories" Dr. Atiur Rahman asserted.
