Hum Hum waterfall which is situated in Razkandi reserve forest, Maulvibazar district, Sylhet. It is discovered in 2009. It is actually a place where you can find the real taste of adventure. The height of the fall is about 135-160 feet. If you select rainy season to go there then you can discover the unlimited beauty of the fall. It is a matter of wonder that most of the Bangladeshi people do not even know about the fall. The hills and the surrounding forest make this place an ideal camping site for the adventure seekers. The main beauty of this waterfall is in its surrounding ground features. Anybody visiting this place will enjoy the whole route to the fall. But the final climax of the beauty is in the waterfall itself.



To reach Hum Hum waterfall first you have to reach Sreemangal by train. Besides train, there are several bus services which are also available from Dhaka to Sreemangal. After reaching Sreemangal, you have to go Champarai Tea Estate. It will take about 2 hours to reach Kalabagan Para in Champarai Tea State. Kalabagan Para is the last settlement just beside the Rajkandi Reserve Forest. You have to start trekking from Kalabagan Para. The trekking route is amazing and full of hills. After 1-1.5 hours you will get to the downstream of the waterfall. Then 2 hours up stream trek will lead you to the Mystical Hum Hum waterfall.



Now it's time to start an adventurous journey. To reach Hum Hum fall you have to trek 3-4 hours through the muddy paths and jungle. When you started traveling through the jungle you will definitely find the unlimited beauty created by the God. Leeches are waiting there eagerly for you and the worst thing is that you cannot escape from them. There are two way to reach Hum Hum fall. The guide will suggest you which way will be better to follow. While trekking, you will find a jiri path which is full of water and stones. You need to pass the path very carefully. Please do not spend much time to see the beauty of waterfall or bathing because if it is getting darker you have to struggle a lot.

There are many hotels and rest houses available at the Sreemangal town where travelers can stay at night. Travelers should take a bamboo stick, extra pair of clothes, mosquito repellent creams, dry foods and water to make a safe journey.
