Humanity, sacrifice and tune of unity

The nation has been going through immense worries due to the widespread disagreements that have come up following Supreme Court's verdict and observations on the constitution's sixteenth amendment.

Unrestrained remarks and denunciations by different political parties about each other seem to have generated an unwanted situation all over Bangladesh.

The ongoing circumstances aggravated with antagonistic remarks from different angles have all the likelihood to hinder the establishment of rule of law in the country according to legal experts and civic society members. All people of the country regard Supreme Court as their ultimate sign of hope and confidence.

For this reason, creating undue hue and cry over the apex court's verdict on sixteenth amendment is beyond doubts detrimental for the prevalence of democratic principles in the country. Political parties of Bangladesh should abstain from instigating aloofness between judiciary and executive authorities.

At the same time all political leaders should remember that they should encourage people to show honor to the law and to judges. That's why politicians themselves should keep away from talking about verdicts and courts indecorously. Building up unity, brotherhood and humanism throughout the nation should be the first and foremost aim of all conscious and patriotic citizens of Bangladesh.

In countries like India, United States of America and some more nations a number of complicated issues were resolved with far-sight and wisdom. Watergate scam, occurrences related to Monica Lewinsky and many more argumentative things in the United States were settled up without causing any harm to courts or state mechanism.

In the same way it has been observed that several difficult, vexed cases were solved by the courts of many countries. The prevailing circumstances in Bangladesh after the pronouncement of Supreme Court's verdict on sixteenth amendment can be resolved peacefully and amicably through negotiations and legal procedure in terms of opinions from prominent intellectuals and jurists.

At the same time the well-wishers of the country belonging to all professional wings should work for consensus among the masses for greater national benefits. People who take part in making policies should spontaneously initiate required measures for fraternity and communal harmony throughout Bangladesh.

Bangladesh has recently defeated Australia for the first time in test cricket. People of the whole country are highly delighted with this victory. Upholding this victorious spirit, everyone should act with warmth and devotion for the advancement of Bangladesh overcoming all ideological differences.

Simultaneously, it needs to be noted that Rohingya civilians are facing inhuman assaults and persecutions in Myanmar. The peace-loving global quarters should get united to compel Myanmar to stop this massacre on Rohingya people.

Eid Ul Azha is going to be observed shortly. The sacrificial values of this festival should be promoted to eliminate discrimination, animosity and injustice from our society. With the dedicated endeavors of all concerned Bangladesh can hold its head high on the global platform with dignity and pride. Let us convey festive greetings to the entire nation with this confidence and optimism in our hearts.
