Amusement park in Gaibandha

Dreamland is the most prominent park of Gaibandha district. It is located at Palashbari Upazila. A businessman, Nuronnobi Chan Mia built this park. People from different districts come here to visit this park. Different species of trees are planted here. For children many kinds of funny sculpture are also available here. Here you can see a lot of sculptures of great person around the world.

Besides, the sculptures of our national heroes are also built here. Among them AK Fazlul Hoque, Hossain Shaheed Sahrawardy, Mawlana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, Bangabandho Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Ziaur Rahman, Bangabir M.A.G. Osmani , Tajuddin Ahmed, Nazrul Islam, Munsur ali, kamrujjaman etc are notable.

Here you can see stunning sculpture of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Begum Rokeya, Michael Madhusudan Datta etc. You may also see the sculptures of great scientist, Such as Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, John Beard, Michael Faraday, Alexander Graham Bell, Marconi. Eid, Puja, Pahela Boishakh, Independence day, Victory Day and in other different festivals, many people gather in this place.

How to go: After reaching Palashbari Bus stand you have to hire a rickshaw to go Dreamland. From Palashbari bus stand Dreamland is not more than one kilometre.

How to reach: Dhaka and Gaibandha is linked by road. You can take a bus from Dhaka to reach Gaibandha district.
Things to do: You can see all the famous people's sculpture of the park at a glance. This will obviously increase your knowledge especially these are inspiring for the children.

Eating facilities: The local food items of Palashbari are very delicious to eat. Especially the hot puri of Mitalee Hotel is awesome. Besides, all kinds of seasonal vegetables are always found at Palashbari.
