Modi exchanges Eid greetings with Hasina
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has phoned his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina and extended his Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to her.
The Indian prime minister briefly spoke to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over phone at 5:50 pm on Wednesday and extended his Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to her," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told media, reports UNB. He said Narendra Modi also greeted the people of Bangladesh and wished their welfare on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr. Reciprocating Eid greetings, Sheikh Hasina also wished the welfare of the people of India, the press secretary said.
