BD no more interested in giving loan to Sri Lanka

Bangladesh is no more interested in providing loan to crisis-hit Sri Lanka as the island nation has sought $250 million more as loan.Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Kazi Saidur Rahman said to bdnews24, "We are now not considering the issue of providing loan as there is huge demand of our own."

Sri Lanka is passing through the worst economic crisis in history since the tiny nation became independent in 1948. Earlier, Bangladesh stood beside the brotherly country offering $200 million worth of credit.
