Bangladesh Prime Minister's visit to India- An analysis

Bangladesh Prime Minister's visit to India- An analysis

Introduction:

Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina Wazed is expected to visit India soon. The invitation was conveyed to Bangladesh Prime Minister during recent visit of Indian foreign minister Dr S.Jaishankar to Bangladesh as per the instructions of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is well known to political analysts of the Sub Continent that India Bangladesh has long standing relations dealing with bilateral fields on various subjects of common interest. Both nations in fact are members of Commonwealth hence the relations are extremely cordial and deep rooted.

The policy of the government of India at present seems to present such a picture to the citizens of the Sub Continent plus rest of the globe that there should be total peace and calumny all around the South Asian continent. Bangladesh as we are well aware that has been evaluated as one of India's prominent business partners in progress. As per ensuring peace processes in South Asian continent is concerned Bangladesh is always regarded as India's strategic partner which is also well aware of. Indians are grateful to Bangladesh during some of the communal disturbances in India she has helped us a lot by nabbing all the dreaded criminals in that nation who were involved in dastard act of criminology which will no doubt be regard as yardstick in accelerating the pace of bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.

As Bangladesh shares many of her borders with Indian states like West Bengal, Tripura and Lower Assam belts, hence she supports her closer neighbors very cordially and renders all sorts of cooperation with India as per nabbing of terroristic activities within both nations concerned. Bangladesh still could not forget the way India helped her during the days of liberation struggle. This year in fact 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between these two nations have been celebrated not only all over Bangladesh but also around all her embassies and high commission offices based in other parts of the globe which no doubt includes India. Despite some minor difference relations between these two nations relations always remain at its highest keel. Thus in the subsequent paragraph it is my humble responsibilities to analyze present relations between India and Bangladesh and also close analysis of upcoming visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister's visit to India shortly.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed's visit to India- An analysis:

The upcoming visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed's visit to India stands significant in connection to current global war, Russian Ukraine War which has badly marred the entire social, political and economic scenes not only around American and European continents but also most badly  affected part is the South Asian continent. Already South Asian continent is in utter disarray with Sri Lanka's situation is in doldrums. But as per the situations in India and Bangladesh are concerned I feel Bangladesh Prime Minister's upcoming visit to India stands extremely significant and productive in connection with restoring peace and tranquility not only around the globe but across Sub Continent. Also on account of the occurrence of Covid 19 since March 2020 entire social, economic and cultural lives of two closer and cordial nations came to a grinding halt.

The citizens of both India and Bangladesh were very much in a soggy mood knowing nothing what to do what not to do. Anyhow now situations have dramatically improved with regular bus, train and air services have started moving on from March 27, 2022 and it is still moving on in full force and velocity.  The visit coincides with full completion of golden jubilee celebrations of the Independence Day of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. If we recollect properly Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister visited Bangladesh during birth centenary celebrations of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina Wazed which was followed by visit of Indian President Ramnath Kovind to that nation.

Issue likely to discussed during the visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister to India:

During the upcoming visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed's visit to India there is expected to be host of discussions on bilateral issues between these two closer and friendly nations. Among all the issues some of the common ones are stated as follow:

Expansion of business, trade and commerce between India and Bangladesh is likely to gain more prominence in the upcoming days.

Scientific and technical collaborations are always given top priorities during the visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister to India.  Teesta issueshould be resolved at the earliest with supply of water to Bangladesh from Indian city of Coochbehar.

Issues of cross border terrorism should be resolved at the earliest.

India and Bangladesh should resolve to tackle the menace of any virus related ailments like Covid 19 and Omicron.

Air, train and bus services between two Bangladesh and all North Eastern states like Assam and Tripura plus will no doubt open further areas of cooperation between two nations.

Conclusion:

So it is my cherished desires that India and Bangladesh should take initiatives jointly any inflow of virus like Covid 19 and Omicron so as to ensure peace and solace among citizens of both nations. Also two nations should initiate process to enter into hydropower generations program connecting other South Asian nations like India, Bhutan and Nepal which is known to us as Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal framework( BBIN). Also India and Bangladesh is looking forward to engage in cooperation of commissioning of various projects which might generate good revenues in India and Bangladesh plus other (BBIN) framework members. Continuous visit of Heads of two states along with Prime Ministers of both nations will further accelerate the pace of cooperation on diverse fields.
