Student politics impact on their life in public universities

 

Once, student politics was for their rights, the rights of innocent people, and the benefit of the country and nation; however, it is now utilized as a means of demonstrating power and enjoying extravagance. Student politics has become a politics of killing, through which the lives and aspirations of numerous mothers are abruptly terminated.A few instances at Comilla University have contributed to the deterioration of the political climate in recent times. By joining student politics, a student is more engaged in power politics than in ideology politics as soon as he enters college. Student politics has evolved into a politics of consumption and power. As a result, it is believed that typical students are.Some are receiving justice, while others are escaping punishment with various excuses. If the current trend continues, anarchy will eventually prevail over education in educational institutions, where there will be more nitpicking than education. It is now time to completely prohibit these. Now is the time to consider how much student politics is required.

Through their older siblings, university students become involved in politics and become more concerned with the supremacy grab than with education. Even if there is no direct politics, the art of politics and the effect of power can be observed among students through student-political organizations in many universities. Students tend to be non-cultural and non-political when they arrive at university. University freshmen should not be able to adapt to the unfamiliar.

Parents have numerous fantasies for their children. They transfer all of their misery to the children. And as the offspring of wealthy households' study like royalty, smart individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds continue to follow their dreams by enrolling in public universities. After receiving an education, parents' smiles will one day be radiant.The family will eventually take control. Thousands of parental hardships will be eliminated. However, due to the toxicity of student politics, the ship of many talented individuals' hopes sank midway. Additionally, they engaged in other violations at the university.

Throughout the year, schooling is disturbed by anti-student politics. Ordinary students and students with opposing viewpoints are susceptible to torture at the hands of callous and unlawful torture cells of the leaders and employees of the leading student organization, not only in fights but even in murders. And they are becoming increasingly brutal. In addition, even if the student organizations of out-of-power political parties lack power, they can engage in violent crimes to advance their political goals, including murder. In contrast, the downsides of the politics of struggle between Chatra League, Chatra Dal, ChatraShibir, and left student organizations are more apparent than their positives.

According to a Somoynews report, Bangladesh Public University students lost their lives at least 150 students and thousands of students were injured in student politics in the last four decades. Even the Bangladesh high education institution which is BUET student Abrar was the last victim.

 
Politics is unquestionably necessary for the welfare of the country and nation; future political leaders will be intelligent and gifted pupils. Therefore, it is imperative that anti-student politics be eliminated, keeping in mind the importance of education to students. When a Master's student joins student politics to achieve his goals, he will develop a sense of maturity and education. Where the will to do politics for the country and the nation will be fostered, as opposed to politics of power and consumerism. I also believe that politics will benefit the country and nation.

This action to prohibit the apolitical mischief known as "organizational politics" is a very preliminary one. Students must work harder. Furthermore, it should be borne in mind that the individual is not an isolated island; he is a member of the group, with his good and bad actions related to those of the group as a whole. Being a good student, performing well on examinations, and obtaining a good job are all crucial. Not the last word, however. The final point is that you cannot live well by yourself. You must get along with absolutely everyone. Politics is this association for the benefit of all. Students must always continue anti-injustice politics. This regulation should be continued in colleges to establish a fearless, safe, and peaceful learning atmosphere by eradicating the halls' deplorable culture of torture.

Students will give speeches, and meetings-seminars-symposia on various elements of the most recent advances in epistemology, debate clubs, film parliaments, and drama-music-painting practice. The university administration will offer the required assistance, while instructors will provide encouragement, conduct research with students on a variety of issues, conduct surveys, etc. To create people who are aware of society, country, and the world, the political orientation of students will be geared toward this objective.

These words may sound ambitious, but this is the way to proceed. Initiate a significant cultural shift in the educational setting. Students must accomplish it themselves since no one else can. They should receive support from their teachers. Academic life requires collective welfare and altruistic politics in order to be joyful and stimulating. The seeds of this political ideology lie latent among students. It is vital to go in this political direction. Only students are able to do so.

Not student politics, but apolitical politics must be eliminated permanently. Let education and student politics return to a level playing field at all educational institutions. I want the right to participate in student politics at the institution to be reinstated after the emotional upheaval passes.
