AL expels Jahangir Alam permanently

 
The ruling Awami League on Monday permanently expelled former general secretary of the party's Gazipur city unit Mohammad Jahangir Alam. Office Secretary of the Awami League Barrister Biplob Barua issued a statement in this regard yesterday. Awami League expelled Jahangir Alam permanently as per the party's central committee constitution.

The decision will come into effect immediately.
