New Director Generals appointed in DGFI, NSI

 
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Bangladesh Armed Forces, has informed that another round of reshuffle in some top posts held by officers belonging to Bangladesh Army was made on Monday (12 August 2024). According to an ISPR press release, Major General Md. Faizur Rahman has been appointed in the Director General post of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI). On the other hand, Major General Mohammad Asadullah Minhazul Alam has been appointed as Director General of National Security Intelligence (NSI).

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud has been appointed in the post of Director General, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP).

Major General Md. Nasim Parvez has been placed in the Commandant post of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).
