Shish Haider new ICT secretary

 
Shish Haider Chowdhury, a member of the International Cooperation Division at the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission, has been appointed as the new secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division. The announcement was made on Sunday by the Ministry of Public Administration in a notification. The government transferred the former ICT secretary, Mohammad Samsul Arefin, to the public administration ministry as an Officer on Special Duty on Thursday.

Shish Haider Chowdhury's appointment comes just two days after the former secretary was designated OSD.

There has been a series of reshuffles and changes across government bodies after the fall of Sheikh Hasina on August 5 caused by the mass uprising led by students.
