We are facing regional, global imperialists: Mahfuz Alam

The interim government's Adviser Mahfuz Alam posted some of his views and thoughts on his verified Facebook profile on Wednesday midnight. He wrote on Facebook "We are facing regional and global imperialism, not just a few sculptures or buildings". Demonstrators started demolishing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's residence at Dhanmondi 32 in Dhaka city a few hours before Mahfuz Alam's Facebook status was uploaded.

Mahfuz Alam stated on Facebook, "We should fight the enemies on the turfs of thinking and intellect and thus to build up counter thoughts and to upgrade our intellectual acumen to confront the hegemonic approach of our antagonists instead of just demolishing statues. We need to take up initiatives to construct innovative things rather than the exercise of vandalizing sculptures and houses."

According to Mahfuz Alam, "Awami League or Sheikh Hasina is nothing but an extension of regional imperialism. We must deal with them in ways of building up competent human resources and strengthening state machineries."

Mahfuz Alam remarked "Demolition does not bear good signs for our future. We will start our constructive projects very soon and we will implement these programs efficiently. I urge everyone to become dynamic upholding a constructive outlook".

Mahfuz Alam added that the rehabilitation process of the martyrs and wounded revolutionaries and the prosecution of July genocides will be expedited within this month.

Mahfuz Alam laid emphasis on materializing creative concepts and actions to eliminate fascist ruling systems. He blamed regional imperialists for transmitting murderous Sheikh Hasina's speech. Mahfuz Alam placed a great deal of importance on working with far-sighted visions. The combat has just kicked off, Mahfuz Alam also wrote on Facebook.

Mahfuz Alam concluded his Facebook post with a prayer to Allah Almighty for everyone's enlightenment.
