Legal notice issued to NCP leader Tasnim Zara

Senior Joint Member Secretary of National Citizens Party (NCP) Dr. Tasnim Zara is facing legal predicaments. An advocate has issued a legal notice on Dr. Tasnim Zara over allegations of spreading obscenity. The legal notice also urges judicial authorities to take action against Dr. Jahangir Kabir. Senior lawyer of Supreme Court Barrister Mohammad Humayun Kabir sent the legal notice to Dr. Tasnim Zara on Thursday (24 April 2025).

The legal notice appeals to the government to go for tough measures to stop vulgar and pornographic video clips and advertisements on Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. According to allegations, Dr. Jahangir Kabir and Dr. Tasnim Zara sell sexual power enhancing medicines on social media through objectionable video clips and photographs under cover of consultations. The legal notice states that these offensive video clips and photographs are degenerating moral values among young people.

Allegedly some reputed celebrities, models and showbiz stars are promoting vulgar visual content and obscene advertisements on Facebook in exchange for money. Reportedly, a good number of physicians always make attempts to attract clients through adult photographs and video clips on social media to increase the magnitude of their viewers. 

Law and Life Foundation has cited in the legal notice that writ petitions with the High Court will be lodged if quick actions are not taken against the dissemination of vulgar things on virtual platforms and the perpetrators at the back of this racket.
