Additionally, Tk 13,472 crore has been allocated to the local government and rural development sector, Tk 10,795 crore to agriculture, Tk 10,641 crore to the environment, climate change, and water resources sector, Tk 5,038 crore to industry and economic services, Tk 3,894 crore to science and information technology, Tk 3,675 crore to religion, culture, and entertainment, Tk 2,777 crore to public order and security, Tk 2,018 crore to social security, Tk 1,877 crore to general government services, and Tk 475 crore to defense.

According to sources, the budget for the current fiscal year's Annual Development Programme (ADP) was initially set at Tk 265,000 crore. However, it has been reduced to Tk 216,000 crore in the revised ADP. The development budget for the next fiscal year is Tk 35,000 crore lower than the original ADP for the current year but Tk 14,000 crore higher than the revised one.
