Gabtoli Upazila seal win DC Gold Cup Football Tournament

 
Gabtoli Upazila defeated Shibganj Upazila by 5-4 goals in a thrilling tie-breaker in the ongoing July Shaheed Smriti Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament organized by District Administration and District Sports Association in Bogura at the football field adjacent to Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura.

In the Monday game, The scheduled game was a 1-1 draw. Ibrahim scored the first goal for Shibganj in the 13th minute of the first half. Alamin scored the goal for Gabtoli in the 20th minute of the second half. Gabtoli Upazila defeated Shibganj Upazila by 5-4 goals in the
Tie-breaker.

 Al-Amin of Gabtoli Upazila was adjudged the player of the match. Shahinur Islam, father of July Shaheed Shakil Hasan Manik, gave away the Man of the Match award.

Bogra District Sports Officer Alamgir Hossain, Member Secretary of Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, Football Tournament Steering Committee members Khawaja Abu Hayat Hiru, Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Mominur Rashid Shahin, Maksudul Alam Bulbul, Atiq and others were present on the occasion.
