Let’s Welcome 2026 While Bidding Farewell to 2025

Let’s Welcome 2026 While Bidding Farewell to 2025

In a couple of days’ time from now onwards, entire humanity across the globe will bid adieu goodbye the current year 2025 thereby welcoming the arrival of the new year 2026. It is no doubt a momentous occasion for us. In reality we must introspect on our heart, how are we residing under the prevailing circumstances. Human beings, who are extrovert in nature, they expose to the societies to be of ebullient disposition. In reality, are we so? Truth should be expressed from the back of our mind, instead of being an introvert temperament.

Throughout the year 2025, we witnessed multiple catastrophes, which is beyond our comprehension level. Starting, from the beginning of the year 2025, we find that there are serious of wars, coercive situations and unethical acts took place. Which badly dismantled the lives of innocent citizens of the innocent citizens of the globe into utter exterminations.  Who is going to shoulder the responsibilities of all these heinous acts? It is not possible for an individual entity to throw up any proper answer and solutions to it. It is indeed a tough proposition for us.

Now coming to the major events of the year 2025, let me touch up some of them, which are stated as such, G-7 Summit, COP 30 Climate Summit in Brazil, German federal parliament election, Russia Ukraine War, gruesome Pahalgam Massacre, heinous political turmoil in Bangladesh, tensed political situations in India plus rest of the globe etc.

As this writer from Kolkata, India, is based in Calcutta. Hence felt terrible pains in my mind and heart on evincing various kinds of dastardly act. As a common and peace-loving citizen of India, do always have feelings upon me that the situations around me should be absolutely calm and cool. But despite my sincerest pray I find that why there is so much violence taking place in some parts of India and in our neighbours. Is there anybody to answer to my query? I might be jeered by my readers, but to be rationally speaking my intention is very positive and be transparent oriented. I want sincerely that there should be peaceful and amiable disposition all around me. There should not be religious bigotry at all. All are under the same banner of humanity, thereby shunning hatred and calumny from our heart.

The year 2025 witnessed some positive events during the entire year. The first and foremost aspect to be noted is that remarkable progress in renewable energy, successful landing at the Moon and finally productive UN climate development agreements. In India, new airports were opened by the BJP NDA Alliance government. Also new expressway along with Delhi Mumbai highway along with the introduction of commercial space tourism. However, from another aspects, we also note the key development features for the cognizance of my respected readers. It is for the cognizance of my respected online readers, let analyse my views on segmentation basis.

Thus, different segmentations are stated as such,

Science and Space:

Lunar Exploration: Firefly aerospace achieved the first successful commercial soft landing on the Moon.

Biology: Colossal Biosciences and the University of Melbourne have been responsible to create the world’s first artificial womb for marsupials, which adds de-addiction efforts.

Renewable Energy: Renewal source of energy is now the leading source of electricity during the first half of the year.

Politics and Society:

Leadership: Japan and Namibia had another feather in the cap for them. It was both appointed first heads of government in respective nations.

Global agreements: The United Nations ratified BBNJ agreement in order to protect marine biodiversity, and the leaders adopted new commitments at the Summit for social development.

Ceasefire: An Israeli Hamas ceasefire was approved thereby bringing an end to the menacing Gaza War.

Henceforth I state the negative features of the year 2025. These are stated as such, intense geopolitical conflicts around the globe (especially severe Pakistani and Bangladeshi cauldron), increased intimidation from AI and automation impacted jobs, rampant misinformation which badly misled the global citizens, worsening environmental degradation, acceleration of inequality, which retards the economic growth of the region and finally the menacing impact cyber and data crimes which are also no doubt severe impediments towards the development of the economy, society and culture around the globe.

That is why the civil societies around the globe sincerely cherish that peace and tranquillity should be restored at the forefront of our societies at the beginning of new English calendar year 2026. Humanity should pray for welfare of the societies, instead we always aim for detriment of us. Very shocking appraisal for us. Towards the end of the year 2025, we will be observing X-Mas celebrations and the New Year 2026. We should have goals on us. What it is? With the blessings of The Superpowers, our objective is to march ahead in the upcoming days of life with a pleasant mind. Hope we may cherish till the penultimate phase of our life.
