Officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI compiled a list of sexual assault allegations related to US President Donald Trump this past August — many of which appear to have come from unverified tips — and the list was included as part of the millions of documents in the new Jeffrey Epstein files released by the Justice Department on Friday. Epstein files containing over 3 million pages released.
US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said at a news conference the Justice Department has now completed its review of the files and that the White House had “no oversight” of the process, reports CNN. The documents released on Friday contain references to US President Donald Trump and other powerful figures, including Elon Musk, Bill Clinton and a former Obama White House counsel.

It’s not clear why the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI officials created the list of allegations related to Trump last year. The document was included in emails that were sent by officials in the FBI’s New York field office on the Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force. Trump has long denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein.
There are more than a dozen allegations included in the document. “Yellow highlighting is for the salacious piece,” one official writes to explain how the allegations were being sorted.
Two versions of the document appeared to have been removed from the Justice Department’s website for a time Friday afternoon before they were restored without any apparent changes. A DOJ official said the document was down “due to overload” and was back online.
The tranche of documents released by the US Department of Justice a couple of days ago comes more than a month after the December 19 deadline set in legislation for all the Epstein-related documents to be published.
In a draft email included among the documents, Epstein alleged Gates had engaged in extramarital affairs and sought his help procuring drugs “to deal with consequences of sex with Russian girls.” It was not clear if Epstein sent the email.
The Gates Foundation, in a statement to The New York Times, denied the allegations of affairs as “absolutely absurd and completely false”.
Emails from Tesla founder Elon Musk to Epstein show Musk actively pursuing several visits to Epstein’s private Caribbean island between 2012 and 2013, years after Epstein had been convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor. In one exchange in 2012, Musk writes: “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?”
One planned meeting with Musk in 2013 appears to have been cancelled by Epstein due to scheduling. The emails do not indicate that Musk ultimately visited Epstein’s island, but challenge previous Musk claims that he is the one to have rebuffed Epstein’s invitations.
