Fuel price hike can make living costlier, affect mobile phones

The worldwide supply chain disruption in mobilizing petroleum has compelled many countries to raise the prices of different fuels. It may affect mobile phone network too.

Bangladesh also has been heavily impacted by fuel price hike. These untoward circumstances have been generated by the ongoing Iran-USA War in the Middle East in which Israel is also involved.

As a result of the armed conflict in the Gulf Zone, movement of merchant ships across the Strait of Hormuz has become jeopardized. The Strait of Hormuz is controlled by the Iranian Navy. For this reason countries which are allies to the United States are not being able to operate their ships through the Strait of Hormuz. The adverse effects of petroleum price hike in Bangladesh have all the likelihood to trigger escalation of living costs.

House rent, transport fares, electric bills, food prices, delivery charge for goods and ordinary people's savings are most likely to come under hammer for rising fuel prices.

Energy crisis has in the meantime intensified all over Bangladesh during last more than one month.
