Colorful rally, discussion meeting on National Legal Aid Day in Kalapara

National Legal Aid Day-2026 was celebrated in Kalapara, Patuakhali with the theme “End of disputes at government expense, Bangladesh first”. The Upazila Legal Aid Committee organized a colorful rally and discussion meeting on Tuesday morning to spread information about getting legal aid at government expense for the distressed and helpless people. Court officials, employees, lawyers, GO and NGO representatives along with them participated in it.

A rally started from the court premises at 10:30 am on Tuesday and ended at the court building premises after circumambulating the main roads of the city. After that, a discussion meeting was held in the court premises.

Kalapara Senior Civil Judge and President of the Upazila Legal Aid Committee  Md. Mohidul Hasan chaired by The program, was addressed by Kalapara Senior Judicial Magistrate Md. Rabbi Islam Roni, Kalapara Police Station OC Md. Nazrul Islam, Mohipur Police Station OC Md. Shamim Howlader, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Mst. Taslima Akhter, Chowki Court Lawyers Association President Advocate Khandaker Nasir Uddin, former president Advocate Mojibur Rahman Chunnu, etc. The program was moderated by Advocate BH Sumon Talukder.
