Kazi Sajjad Zahir Chandan, President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), has left Dhaka for Moscow, Russia, to attend the 3rd International Anti-Fascist Forum. The information was disclosed in a press release issued yesterday, Saturday. Political parties, mass movement leaders, intellectuals, and peace activists from various countries across the globe are participating in this international forum in Moscow.
According to conference sources, the event will feature extensive discussions on strengthening international solidarity against the global rise of fascism, imperialism, war policies, and anti-democratic aggression. During the forum, a special session titled "International Terrorism: The Struggle for Peace and Security Against Aggression" will be held, where CPB President Kazi Sajjad Zahir Chandan is scheduled to speak alongside other global leaders.
Party sources stated that during his visit, Chandan will represent the people of Bangladesh and articulate CPB's firm stance on peace, democracy, equality, progressivism, and international solidarity on the global stage.
