Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that the country is moving towards an extremely tough time and important period ahead. If this time is not taken seriously and is instead treated casually, the consequences will fall on the nation and future generations.
He made these remarks on Sunday while addressing, as the chief guest, a discussion meeting held at the auditorium of the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in Farmgate, Dhaka, marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of former President Ziaur Rahman.
The Prime Minister said, "An extremely difficult and important time awaits us. If we spend this period carelessly and without seriousness, the damage will be immense. Who will suffer that damage? Perhaps not you personally, but the country will suffer, and your future generations might suffer as well."
