US President Donald Trump has expressed hope to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in person soon.
The US President conveyed this expectation in a letter sent to the Prime Minister on Monday (August 31). Atiqur Rahman Rumon, Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, confirmed the information, reports BSS.
In the letter, Trump noted that despite facing various adversities, he firmly believes Bangladesh and its people have a bright future under Tarique Rahman's leadership.
He also extended his sincere greetings and best wishes to the people of Bangladesh.
Additionally, the US President thanked the Prime Minister for the decision to purchase Boeing aircraft from the United States.
He assured that Boeing would not disappoint Bangladesh, adding that he would always remember the Prime Minister's personal attention to this matter.
