US invites Bangladeshi students for exchange
The US Embassy in Dhaka has opened applications for Bangladeshi high school students to take part in the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Programme for the Spring 2027 semester.
Applications must be submitted by 4pm on Wednesday, Sept 23, the embassy said on X on Friday. The merit-based programme is open to Bangladeshi students aged 15 to 17.
Selected students will spend a semester in the United States, live with a US host family and attend an American high school.
The programme also includes activities aimed at developing leadership skills and promoting cultural exchange.
