A total of 90,356 people have been hospitalised with dengue this year, with 84,299 discharged.

September saw the highest monthly admissions, at 43,774, along with 148 deaths.

The health directorate has tracked dengue hospitalisations and deaths since 2000.

Last year, more than 400 people died and around 102,000 cases were recorded.
