Shahjahan Mia MP visits Puja Mandaps in Patuakhali -The Asian Age

Patuakhali-1 Member of Parliament (MP) and President of patuakhali Zilla Awami League Advocate Md Shahajahan Mia MP visited different Puja Mandaps in Mirzaganj of patuakhali on Sunday evening. Through a spot visit our correspondent found that DurganPuja is being celebrated in Patuakhali with the highest security like other parts of the country.

While visiting Puja Mandaps, Md Shahajahan Mia MP exchanged greetings with the people of Hindu Community including people of all cast, creed and color. He said, 'Bangladesh is the land of religious peace; here the festival maybe belongs from one particular community but the celebration should be everyone's. He also wished the Hindu community people on the occasion of Durga Puja on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  

Convener of Mirzaganj Upazila Awami league and Former Upazila Parishad Chairman Gazi Atahar Uddin Ahmed, senior leader of Awami League Ismail Hossain Mridha, former Joint Secretary Md Jasim Uddin Jwuel Bepari, President of Upazila Puja Celebration Association's President Subal Chandra Devnath and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mirzaganj Police Station Shawkat Anwar Islam were present there with others.
