$\'Scientific training is provided to doctors to reduce dengue deaths\' Rafiqul Islam Pintu, AA State Minister for Health Dr. MA Muhit has said that, scientific training is being provided to doctors so that no dengue patient dies due to wrong treatment or mismanagement. He made the remarks at the Dhaka Medical College in the capital on Tuesday while addressing a discussion meeting titled \'Training of Doctors on Clinical Management of Dengue\'. Special training is being given to 1600 doctors in 40 districts at the directive of the State Minister for Health as well as this day long training program has been started on an urgent basis under the guidance of expert professors and doctors of the Bangladesh Society of Medicine. He further said that, doctors are being trained as per dengue clinical management standards with a view to reduce the death rate and saving many lives. Dr Muhit elaborately came up and said again that, till now 63 thousands 627 patients have been admitted to hospitals during this dengue season. Despite limited facilities and intense pressure 59 thousands 83 patients have already recovered through the tireless endeavor of doctors, he added. On the other hand, 4 thousand 3 hundred patients are under treatment now. He however mentioned again that, despite patients increasing about 99 percent infected patients are being cured and returned to their families by the doctors and health workers. State Minister for Health Dr. Muhit also international public health specialist and stated that an effective health system cannot be made based solely on emotions or unplanned decision. Moreover, initiatives have been taken to address the crisis in a coordinated manner by collecting epidemiological data and training doctors through science based planning, he added. In addition, stressing the importance of the professional dignity and social protection of doctors, State Minister said that any media trial against health workers is unacceptable and there should be no distance between the service providers and the public. Principal of country\'s different Medical Colleges, Civil Surgeons and doctors of Specialized hospitals were also present and virtually connected at the event.$
